Adobe's UX design and prototyping tool with Creative Cloud integration

๐ŸŽจUI/UX Design

About Adobe XD

Adobe XD was Adobe's response to Sketch and Figma. The tool had strong Creative Cloud integration โ€” assets from Photoshop and Illustrator flowed naturally into XD designs. The prototyping features with animated transitions were best-in-class. However, Adobe's acquisition of Figma (blocked by regulators) signaled the end for XD โ€” Adobe announced it would discontinue new XD development. Existing projects can still be opened, but the platform is no longer actively developed. For historical reference, XD's repeat grid feature for creating lists of items was genuinely innovative. Not recommended for new projects.
